Matthew 7:13-14
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.  But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Jesus is the narrow gate. The path through Christ the road that leads to life. Whatever path you choose must bring you upon an encounter of our great Messiah Jesus; and out of that encounter you must receive Him and accept that He saved you from the cost of sin. Jesus offers reconciliation and forgiveness of sins no matter what path we are on in life. As we accept His offering and repent, we live differently and no longer walk a path that leads to destruction. Abandon all roads of destruction and run with Jesus; He is everything.

Philippians 2:5-8
In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:  Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.  And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death — even death on a cross!

Jesus’ response because of His divine nature was one of service to His disciples, and all of mankind. His obedience to His Father in heaven did not fall short, but it completed the work that He was sent to do. Jesus came to die on a cross so that we may have relationship with God. If you believe in Christ, guard against imposing your belief system upon another person. Jesus showed us the right road to take; the road of a servant. God delights in perfecting the gospel message through our imperfect service. Offer what you can, and through you He will offer what you can’t.
